The Basics

 
Classes: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:45am-12:15pm, 2-105, except July 4.
Recitations: Thursday, 3:45-4:45pm, 2-105.
Midterms: Wednesday July 9, 10:45-12:15am, 2-105.
Finals: Thursday July 31, 9:00-11:00am, 2-105.
Homework assignments: Compulsory. Turn in to Omar by 8:30pm each Tuesday.
Office hours: Sunday, 7-8:30pm at Simmons, or by individual appointment.

Final Exam Grades

Below is a histogram of the class's final exam performance. The mean was 75 points out of 120, the median was 74.

Omar will be sending out individual grades by email over the next few days. Very well done to all of you!

The Calculus Challenge Score Board

Solutions to the puzzles may be submitted by email to thecalculuschallenge@gmail.com by midnight on the day they were set (this excludes The Calculus Challenge 0, which is due on Sunday, June 22 at 6pm). Late entries will not be accepted. A prize for the best performance will be awarded after Calculus Challenge 16. In the case of a tie two (or more) prizes will be made available.
